How much lift do I get? Is it just spacers?
Nearly 3" with our wheels and tires. The buffer kit raises the factory spring rate and keeps your factory suspension geometry. The wheel adapters space bigger wheels and tires out from the hubs, and the fender flares add clearance at the wheel openings. Together with our wheels and tires, that's the full 453 lift.
What tire size does it run?
Maxxis 205/60R15 on our 15x7, 4x156 wheels, sized for the 453's milder lift. The 215/75R15 all-terrains we sell are for the 451 and Toyota kits.
Do I need wheel adapters?
Yes, to run our wheels. The 453 is 4x100 from the factory, and our adapters convert it to 4x156. They're staggered, 2" front and 2.25" rear, and lug nuts are included.
Are the fender flares the same as the 451's?
Yes. One flare set fits both the 451 and the 453. They bolt on with stainless steel hardware and have trim-to-fit ends.
Is it hard to install?
It's bolt-on using factory mounts and ships with color printed, step-by-step instructions. Prefer a pro? Any trusted mechanic or collision shop can install it, and we'll send them our shop write-up: just ask through our contact form.
Will my tire pressure light work with new wheels?
Add our pre-programmed 453 TPMS sensors when your tires are mounted. No scan tool or dealer visit needed.
