Go by the year. 2008–2015 is the 451: get the 451 3" kit. 2016 and newer is the 453, EQ included: get the 453 setup. The two kits are not interchangeable.

Our 451 kit can go on a 450, but it requires modifying the rear shock hangers, and we make no guarantees on fitment or compatibility for that generation. Our 3x112 wheel adapters and front leveling kit are listed for the 450. Contact us with your year before you order so we can talk it through.

Yes. We have specific adjustments to our kit for the electric 451, and the 453 setup covers the EQ.

Yes. The 451 kit fits the Pure, Passion and Brabus, and Bilstein sport shocks work great with it.

3" on the Smart 451. Nearly 3" on the Smart 453 with our wheels and tires (buffer kit, wheel adapters and fender flares). 2" on the Toyota platform kit for the Prius, Corolla, Matrix and Vibe.

No frame cutting or welding. Our kits bolt on using factory mounts, and the 451 kit needs no frame cutting or welding at all. Our fender flares have trim-to-fit ends, and the color instructions walk you through the trim. Running very large tires (28", for example) on a Smart takes some easy clearance trimming of superficial pinch welds.

We don't offer install service, but any trusted mechanic or collision shop can install our kits. Ask us for our shop write-up to send them through our contact form, and we're happy to answer their questions during the build.

Yes. Contact us with your order number and we'll send you a copy.

From the factory there's negative camber in the rear; after lifting you'll see that normalize under no load. That's normal, and with our wider stance, adapters, wheels and tires the car should track better on the road. If you still want an alignment, put about 400 miles on the car first so the lift can settle. For the front end, the shop will loosen and retighten the front subframe.

If your factory shocks are tired, new ones are a big help. For the 451 we carry a Bilstein shock upgrade that works with our kit and keeps your ride height.

Yes. Every part is sold on its own: the lift kit, adapters, flares, wheels and tires. The kit builder just makes it easy to get a matched set, and gives you 8% off matched parts bought with the lift kit.

Our brake upgrade kit: OE+ components that replace the front rotors and pads and the rear drums and shoes. Everything you need to upgrade your brakes.

Smart 451 and the Toyota kits: 215/75R15 all-terrains, and those need the lift kit to clear. Smart 453: Maxxis 205/60R15, sized for the 453's milder lift. The kit builder for your car only shows tires that fit.

Our aftermarket wheels are all 15x7, drilled 4x156, and none of our cars come with that bolt pattern. Our adapters convert the 451 (3x112), the 453 (4x100) and the Prius, Corolla, Matrix and Vibe (all 5x100) to 4x156, and lug nuts are included. On the 453 they're also part of the setup that gets you nearly 3" of lift.

Our adapters convert to 4x156, so your wheels need that bolt pattern. The wheels we sell are all 15x7. Send us your wheel's specs through the contact form before you buy and we'll help you check fitment.

No. Tires and rims are sold separately and ship separately, so have a tire shop mount and balance them. Add our pre-programmed TPMS sensors at the same time if you want your tire pressure warning to keep working.

We're in Elk Grove, California and Beaverton, Oregon, and orders ship from both. Local pickup can be arranged at either location: contact us before you order so we can have everything ready to rock.

You can return items within 30 days. Returns carry a 20% restocking fee, and nothing is final sale. To start one, use our contact form with your order number. Full details are on our Shipping & returns page.

Yes. 1-year warranty on parts we make. 30 days on everything else. Contact us with your order number, and we'll reply by email so you can send photos of the issue.
