Which cars can I build a kit for?
Smart Fortwo 451 (2008–2015), Smart Fortwo 453 (2016+, EQ included), Toyota Prius (2004–2009), Corolla (2003–2008), Matrix (2003–2008) and Pontiac Vibe (2003–2008). More are coming; join the list on any coming-soon card.
Which kit does my Smart need?
Go by the year. 2008–2015 is the 451; 2016 and newer is the 453, EQ included. Our 451 kit can go on an older 450, but that requires modifying the rear shock hangers, and we make no guarantees on fitment or compatibility for that generation.
How much lift do I get?
3" on the Smart 451. Nearly 3" on the Smart 453 with our wheels and tires. 2" on the Toyota platform kit.
What tire size goes with my kit?
Smart 451 and the Toyota kits: 215/75R15 all-terrains, which need the lift to clear. Smart 453: Maxxis 205/60R15, sized for its milder lift. Each builder only shows tires that fit your car.
Do I need wheel adapters?
Yes, to run our 15x7, 4x156 wheels. We make adapter sets for the 451 (3x112), the 453 (4x100) and the Toyotas (5x100), with lug nuts included. The builder adds the right set for your car.
Do I have to buy everything at once?
No. Start with the lift and add wheels, tires and armor now or later. In the configurator you pick your parts step by step, then add the whole build to your cart in one tap. Buy the lift kit with matched parts in the same order and you get 8% off those parts automatically.
Is it hard to install?
Our kits bolt on using factory mounts and ship with color printed, step-by-step instructions. Prefer a pro? Any trusted mechanic or collision shop can install it, and we'll send them our shop write-up: just ask through our contact form.
